Zoethian|Without You-Chapter 3- Teary Final

  Xephos and Lalna looked at Rythian shocked. Neither of them knew Rythian could cry. Rythian looked at Xephos and Lalna as his eyes flared with anger, but became weak again. “…How..?” Xephos said to himself. The mage looked out the window and saw the flame heading towards Sips Co. In that second, he was gone, and all that was left of where he last stood was sparks of ender. Lalna and Xephos ran outside and looked at the mage chasing the flame. “Should we stop him?” Xephos asked. Lalna shook his head. “I messed with him and Zoey once and nearly got killed. I know better than to mess with them twice…” Lalna said looking at Rythian chase the flame. ‘I lost a starring contest with an enderman… and it nearly cost my life. I just hope I don’t stare at the same enderman twice in a row…’ Lalna thought. The two watched as the flame went closer and closer two the two factories. “Wait a second- Honeydew is still there!” Xephos panicked. “They aren’t heading towards Honeydew Inc. They are heading past it.” Lalna said calmly. Xephos looked at him as if Lalna had five heads. “What are you saying?!?!” “Zoey is going to put herself out.”

  Rythian flew after the flame, not caring about the sparks burning his face. “ZOEY!! COME BACK!! PLEASE!” Rythian screamed. Zoey looked back and flew faster. “WHY ARE YOU AVOIDING ME?!?!” Rythian screamed. Zoey ignored him and flew over both factories. Her flame was so bright; you could see it from Owl Island to InthelittleCorp perfectly. Zoey looked at the ocean behind Honeydew Inc. and turned around and looked back at Rythian. “I’ll see you again. I promise.” Zoey said. Rythian flew faster, but not fast enough. Zoey dove right into the ocean and nothing was left but a small, burnt red mushroom, with twenty-one spots. “No…no…no…” Rythian whispered. “NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOO!” His last scream sounded un-human and all could here. Even Sky, who’s Island was far past Owl Island, jumped up when he heard the scream. “Why…why…” Rythian mumbled. He grabbed the small mushroom and starred at it, then vanished.

  Rythian was nothing for the last month. He wouldn’t make eye contact with anyone, he didn’t bother to make another shelter, he just sat there in the rubble of what once was the great Blackrock Fortress starring at the small mushroom. Lalna flew by once or twice to check up on his friend. But all he saw was the most depressed Rythian.
   One day- Lalna went to check on Rythian and saw he wasn’t where he normally was. Lalna flew around and saw Rythian staring into the lake where he first met Zoey. Rythian looked down at the small mushroom, which now had the rings Zoey once had on her across its stem. Then, he and Lalna heard a familiar voice and both looked up. “Whoa-Whoa. Ok, ok, ok” The two then saw someone splash into the lake. Rythian’s face lit up as he saw the flash of red hair swim up. “Zoey!” He said as he jumped in after the girl. Lalna watched, tears in his eyes, at the touching scene. Rythian then swam and flew up, grasping Zoey in his arms. “R-Rythian? Rythian! Wait- am I alive? I’m not on fire anymore!” Zoey said. Rythian smiled and the two kissed. “I missed you Zoey…” Rythian said. Zoey smiled and kissed him again. “I didn’t know you could cry!” Zoey smirked. Rythian started to blush and was shocked. “How? You saw that?” Rythian asked. Zoey nodded and smiled. “…That is the first and last time you will see me cry….” Rythian said. “So you wont cry if I play dead and you think I am actually dead?” Zoey smirked. “You do that and we will have some problems…” Rythian smirked and the two kissed once more.
  “Oh- you dropped this when you ‘took a swim’ I think you would really want it back.” Rythian said as he took out the red mushroom. “Barry Jr.! Oh My Gosh thank you Rythian!” Zoey said. The two kissed again and both of them said between the kisses- “Don’t ever, leave me, again.”
